DAN AND LIZ CARDS
Personal card business
I have recently begun designing and selling funny and rude cards. I develop the ideas with my partner Dan, then hand draw them, photograph them and edit them on Photoshop, where I add the text.
I create everything myself, including web banners, a PDF catalogue, card mock-ups for selling online and business cards.
MOCK UPS AND LOGO DESIGN
I have used mock ups in Photoshop to show my cards and prints realistically when selling online.

I wanted a logo that related to our brand's sense of humour so I was inspired by a whoopie cushion" I chose this font because it is cartoonish and bold but irregular to complement our hand drawn and unpolished style.

I added a tagline using the same handwriting as on my designs, suitable for printing on the reverse of the cards.

I like that a whoopie cushion can easily be rotated so I rotated the design and added colour for use in my catalogue as I feel this layout works better in a header and the yellow is bright and fun.
